As 2018 comes to a close, KASK would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support throughout the year and wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season.

It has been a fun year, both on and off the water and I look forward to more of the same in 2019, whether it be paddling amongst the rocks at Tologa Bay or reconnoitring around Urupukapuka Island.

Spending time on the water, having fun and raising your skill level leads to a safer and more confident paddler.

Off the water, the KASK Committee has been looking at ways to increase and improve your membership experience and be able to manage sustainable external relationships with our stakeholders.

To do this, the committee has accepted a sponsorship proposal from BizX Business Success Partners.

BizX  Success Partners who specialises in digital strategy, digital enablement, online communities and eLearning will help KASK with creating a smoother customer journey for new members, and better user experience for existing members. Over the coming months, BizX will be revitalising our current systems, helping with our digital strategy and driving the tech behind the KASK handbook app.

With Paul retiring as editor after issue 200 in May of next year and the future of the magazine in jeopardy. It is important that we find someone.
If there is anyone out there who would be interested and who would like to commit to being an editor or an assistant, please contact me at [email protected].
For those preparing articles or photographs for the next issue, the cut-off date for submissions will be Sun 20th January 2019.

With the KASK KayakFest online registration going live at the end of January – meet Amber Champion – one of our instructors:

Happy paddling and wishing you all a safe and relaxing holiday.
