Surf Sirens Womenās Surf Kayak Campš§ was started in 2016 in the Paciļ¬c NW, USA. Deb and Melinda are two of the four members of the Surf Sirens organizing committee that continues to offer the popular event every September on the āPNW Edgeā. We are very excited to bring Surf Sirens to New Zealand for the ļ¬rst time!

2024 Surf Sirens Women's Surf Kayak Surf Camp, Waihi, NZ
What:
~~Kayak Surf Instruction 9:00 am – 4:00 pm ~~ Cost: $125 per day ~~ Novice to Intermediate
- **Prior registration is required, but there may be space on the day. (See Below.)
- **8 students max each day; Can register for one or both days of instruction.
Date:
~~April 25, 26, 2024 (Thursday, Friday)Ā 9 am to 4 pm
Where:
~~Waihi Surf Club, Waihi Beach
Training:
~~This training will focus on safety, skill development, and decision-making when launching and landing in a surf zone. Participants will develop kayak handling skills to negotiate the surf zone, learn the read the waves, make decisions about where to be in the surf zone, as well as understanding surf etiquette. As a bonus, learning to surf in a sea kayak will undoubtedly happen – because itās so much FUN! Deb and Melinda will provide will provide group and individualized instruction based on skill level and personal goals.
